NEW YORK—Bridge Global Strategies, a New York boutique public relations agency specializing in cross-border PR, has opened a Toronto office to help meet Canadian companies’ U.S. PR needs. The office is headed by Jill Lewis, Bridge’s communications director and a Canadian who worked for 15 years in New York, and will work closely with Bridge’s Canadian affiliate, High View Communications.
“Many Canadian companies want a U.S. market presence but may not have either offices or experience with PR south of the border,” says High View president Ann Gallery. “Access in Toronto to a senior professional who can help strategize their U.S. PR is great added value for Canadian clients, something they would not expect to get from a boutique firm.”
High View and Bridge have partnered on a number of cross-border PR campaigns since 2006, and both companies are founders of Public Relations Boutiques International, a global network of independent boutique PR firms.
Lewis, who helped found Bridge, has 20 years of communications experience that emphasize international PR, including positions at several PR agencies; prominent Japanese business organization Keizai Koho Center; and non-profit organizations.
