British Airways Keeps Grayling, Action Group Following Global Review

British Airways has retained Grayling and Action Group — its incumbent agencies in Middle East and Asia-Pacific following a highly-anticipated PR review last year.

LONDON—British Airways has retained Grayling and Action Group — its incumbent agencies in Middle East and Asia-Pacific — following a highly-anticipated PR review last year.

Grayling will continue its work in Asia Pacific and Action PR Group, a relationship that stretches back almost 40 years, is staying on as British Airways’ PR firm in the Middle East and Central Asia region.

“Both agencies have a strong track record and sound understanding of our business and we felt that they were the best fit for our current requirements,” a BA spokesperson told the Holmes Report.

It is expected the airline will review its PR duties in Europe and Africa this year. Its last major global pitch was more than three years ago and resulted in the firm parting ways with  FleishmanHillard and eventually appointing three firms to its worldwide roster, which covers 58 markets and is estimated at approximately £1.8m in fees. BA has yet to respond on whether its UK and US business will be reviewed.
