Broadcast Veteran Bohlsen Launches Indianapolis Firm

Vicki Bohlsen, a veteran of CBS Television and video production and distribution company Medialink, has launched BohlsenPR with a team that provides experience in corporate and non-profit public and media relations.

INDIANAPOLIS— Vicki Bohlsen, a veteran of CBS Television and video production and distribution company Medialink, has launched BohlsenPR with a team that provides experience in corporate and non-profit public and media relations and expertise in national electronic, print and social media placement, entertainment management, copywriting, television and video production, crisis management, event planning, media spokesperson training, advertising and marketing.

 

Bohlsen has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate and non-profit media relations and marketing, having worked for the CBS Television Network in New York, and for WTHR-TV and The Promotion Company in Indianapolis. Earlier, she helped launch the radio live events division of Medialink and worked with clients such as Sony, AT&T, Mattel, Proctor & Gamble, The Disney Channel and Eli Lilly & Company.

 

Her freelance PR clients included American Cabaret Theatre, the Spirit & Place Festival, and the Riley Children’s Foundation. In 2007, she helped create TrendyMindsPR.

 

She is joined at the new firm by Cindy Dashnaw, chief copywriter, former PR director for the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians & Western Art; Aimee Morgan, Chief Operating Officer, who previously worked as marketing manager at the Arts Council of Indianapolis; and Andy Wilson, development and public relations director, previously director of public relations and promotions for Sunshine Promotions.
