NEEDHAM, MA—RF Binder Partners has been retained by Brooks Automation to create and manage a multi-tiered public relations program. With operations in North America, Europe and Asia, Brooks delivers hardware and software systems that enable semiconductor and other complex industries to improve manufacturing efficiencies.

RF Binder will work with the company to increase visibility and to generate greater awareness of the Brooks and its offerings, with particular emphasis on its enterprise software applications. The account will be managed out of RF Binder’s Boston office, which handles several other semiconductor industry leaders, including LTX, a supplier of semiconductor test equipment, and Mykrolis, a provider of components and subsystems used in semiconductor manufacturing.

Brooks selected RF Binder Partners after evaluating a number of agencies. According to Michael Pippins, chief marketing officer, “Launching this public relations campaign is an important initiative for Brooks, and it was critical that we partnered with the right agency. RF Binder demonstrated a knowledge of both the semiconductor and the software sides of our business.

“Moreover, it offers us the senior level, personalized service of a small firm, backed by the global resources of Ruder Finn, one of the leading public relations consultancies in the world.”
