Brunswick's Gonda Joins Carlye to Head Communications

Global private equity firm The Carlyle Group has named Ellen Gonda director of communications for the Americas. Based in New York, Gonda will be responsible for firm-wide communications initiatives in North and South America.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Global private equity firm The Carlyle Group has named Ellen Gonda director of communications for the Americas. Based in New York, Gonda will be responsible for firm-wide communications initiatives in North and South America and will report to director of global communications Chris Ullman.

Gonda joins Carlyle from Brunswick Group, the international communications consultancy, where she was a director focused on corporate and financial communications and provided counsel to international companies experiencing crisis situations, particularly transactions and restructurings across a variety of sectors. Prior to joining Brunswick in 2000, Gonda held positions at Gavin Anderson & Company and Abernathy MacGregor Frank.

The Carlyle Group is a global private equity firm with $75.6 billion under management committed to 55 funds and employs more than 900 people in 21 countries.
