Bumble Bee Seafoods Taps Fleishman-Hillard

Bumble Bee Seafoods, one of the largest branded canned seafood companies in North America, has retained Fleishman-Hillard to implement multiple public relations and marketing initiatives.

SAN DIEGO—Bumble Bee Seafoods, one of the largest branded canned seafood companies in North America, has retained Fleishman-Hillard to implement multiple public relations and marketing initiatives, including a corporate visibility program and national new product launches.

Fleishman-Hillard’s San Diego office recently assisted Bumble Bee with its announcement of the seafood company’s acquisition by its management and private investment firm Centre Partners Management. In addition, the firm is supporting the launch of new products Prime Fillet and Touch of Lemon in select markets, as well as nationally.

“As a leader, we look to partner with other leaders in their field,” said Christopher Lischewski, Bumble Bee president and CEO. “Fleishman-Hillard’s reputation for quality work and targeted results, as well as its global expertise in consumer and branded food products made the firm a natural selection for Bumble Bee.”

With more than $500 million in annual revenues, Bumble Bee is the largest producer and marketer of canned albacore tuna, canned salmon, and specialty canned seafood products in the United States.
