SAN FRANCISCO—Old Navy has named Burson-Marsteller agency of record. Burson-Marsteller joins Old Navy’s other primary marketing partners, Deutsch/LA (general market advertising) and The Vidal Partnership (Hispanic market advertising). Burson replaces DeVries Public Relations on the account, after winning a pitch against fellow finalists DeVries and Manning Selvage & Lee.

According to Catherine Beaudoin, Old Navy’s senior vice-president/marketing. “The Burson team showed great passion for our brand and brought fresh insights and creative ideas in support of our aggressive growth plans. We are excited to bring the Burson-Marsteller team together with our own strong internal public relations team and feel confident that together we will find new ways to connect to our customers and keep Old Navy top of mind.”

The account will be housed in the Brand Marketing Practice at Burson-Marsteller and serviced out of its New York and San Francisco offices.

Select Resources International, the Santa Monica-based management-consulting firm, managed the review.
