Burson-Marsteller has formed a strategic partnership with fellow WPP agency and entertainment marketing specialist B|W|R Public Relations. The firms have already collaborated on consumer marketing projects for existing clients and some new business initiatives.

NEW YORK—Burson-Marsteller has formed a strategic partnership with fellow WPP agency and entertainment marketing specialist B|W|R Public Relations. The firms have already collaborated on consumer marketing projects for existing clients and some new business initiatives.

 

B|W|R has built its reputation waging launch and ongoing support campaigns for a range of clients from fashion/beauty brands (Juicy Couture, Vera Wang/Kohl’s) to technology (Netflix, Blackberry Storm, Rock Band), charity events (Revlon Run/Walk, Stand Up to Cancer, Tiger Jam) to destinations (Wynn Las Vegas, The London, Sandals/Beaches), Hollywood parties (TV Guide/Emmys, Diddy’s White Party) to television shows (American Idol, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia).

 

“Marketers today need agency partners that can help them decide the optimum marketing mix for their brands and companies,” says Samantha Lucas, chair of Burson-Marsteller’s U.S. brand marketing practice, who will lead the partnership for Burson-Marsteller.
