BOSTON—Burson-Marsteller is opening a Boston office designed to deepen the firm’s relationships with clients, media and other influencers in Greater Boston.
“Boston is home to a diverse mix of established global brands and is seeing resurgence in high tech and digital commerce,” says Patrick Ford, Burson-Marsteller’s U.S. president and CEO. “It’s an ideal time to enhance our presence.”
Burson-Marsteller’s clients in the Boston area have ranged from Fleet Boston Financial and Digital Equipment Corporation to the regional operations of Sun Microsystems, 3Com and SAP. The firm’s technology industry analyst relations practice is Boston-based.
The office will be led by managing director Susan Galer.
