Buy.com Taps GolinHarris for U.S. Public Relations

Online retailing giant Buy.com has selected GolinHarris to lead its U.S. public relations efforts and advance its brand in the e-commerce marketplace. The firm is charged with managing media relations and branding and supporting the launch of new Buy.com product categories.

COSTA MESA, CA—Online retailing giant Buy.com has selected GolinHarris to lead its U.S. public relations efforts and advance its brand in the e-commerce marketplace. The firm is charged with managing media relations and branding and supporting the launch of new Buy.com product categories and other company initiatives.

 

“More and more consumers are recognizing the ease, convenience and price advantages of online shopping versus brick-and-mortar stores,” says Jeff Wisot, vice president of marketing for Buy.com.  “As an established e-commerce provider with a 10-year history, our aim is to be the first and final destination for the consumer’s online shopping needs.  We believe GolinHarris offers the talent, experience and capabilities to help us further this vision.”

 

The Southern California-based PR team, which will include personnel in both the Los Angeles and Orange County offices, is led by Lisa Falcetti, senior vice president in the Orange County office.
