CA Technologies Selects Nelson Bostock, Kaizo

CA Technologies, the leading information technology management software and solutions company, has appointed Nelson Bostock Communications to lead its U.K. PR program following a two stage pitch.

LONDON—CA Technologies, the leading information technology management software and solutions company, has appointed Nelson Bostock Communications to lead its U.K. PR program following a two stage pitch. At the same time, the company has retained Kaizo to develop a strong social media presence in Europe.

 

Nelson Bostock will primarily focus on business-to-business communications; delivering CA’s message to pan-European, national and trade media on the management of complex IT infrastructures, including hot topics such as cloud computing and IT security. It will also include consumer campaigns for CA Technologies’ AntiVirus and IT security software. 

The Nelson Bostock account team will be led by board director and head of technology and corporate PR, Simon Glazer.

According to Sarah Atkinson, vice president for communications, Europe, at CA Technologies: “We were looking for a blend of day-to-day ability, strategy, thought leadership and creativity. The Nelson Bostock team demonstrated an excellent understanding of CA Technologies’ business: how the company has evolved over the past three decades, and more importantly, our strategy and vision for the future. The team will work closely with our European communications team to support all CA Technologies IT solution areas.”

Kaizo will carry out a strategic review of the blogosphere for the leading IT management software and solutions company to establish where to focus activity and then establish CA’s subject matter experts as leading commentators in their fields.

According to Atkinson: “Kaizo had the most thorough approach to running a social media campaign. They will work with our team to establish a strong online presence in all our target areas. They really understand what it takes to create and sustain online conversations.”
