DARIEN, CT—Cameron Communications, led by former NBC journalist Jim Cameron, is now conducting media training via the web.
“Having wasted hours and hours in travel, it occurred to me that my workshops could be delivered just as effectively online as in person, and this goes for both myself and my clients,” says Cameron. “This spring I suffered a fall and needed knee surgery, so I used my time in rehab to fine tune my ‘virtual’ training workshop via the Internet.”
Clients can meet online with Cameron at a time convenient to them. Once there, they receive individualized training, conversing with Cameron as he explains the best practices of message delivery. Then they are ‘interviewed’ and critiqued by Cameron, including a print interview that is written-up and reviewed.
“My trainees can be anywhere in the world… in the office or on the road. They can receive personalized instruction, in private or in a group, at the time that best fits their needs,” says Cameron.
