Canada's National Expands on Atlantic Coast

National Public Relations, Canada’s largest independent public relations firm, is acquiring a minority stake in MT&L Public Relations, a 20-year old PR firm with offices in the Atlantic Canada region.

MONTREAL—National Public Relations, Canada’s largest independent public relations firm, is acquiring a minority stake in MT&L Public Relations, a 20-year old PR firm with offices in the Atlantic Canada region. The partners of MT&L Public Relations, including principal Janet McMillan, will retain majority ownership and continue active management of the firm.

MT&L has offices in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and St. John, New Brunswick and offers public affairs and public relations services.

“Finally we are present in the Atlantic market through this partnership with a well established firm sharing a similar culture and embracing common values of respect, entrepreneurship, professionalism and integrity,” says Luc Beauregard, chairman and CEO of National Public Relations. “National and MT&L have already collaborated effectively on several projects, providing favorable results for clients.”
