Cap Cana Resort Taps rbb Public Relations

Cap Cana, a new multi-billion dollar resort destination in the Dominican Republic, has named rbb Public Relations as its North American public relations agency of record.

MIAMI, January 17—Cap Cana, a new multi-billion dollar resort destination in the Dominican Republic, has named rbb Public Relations—the former Rubin Barney & Birger—as its North American public relations agency of record.
       
As Cap Cana’s communications counsel, rbb Public Relations will spearhead public relations campaigns in the U.S. and Canada, geared at driving sales for the destination’s luxury residences and garnering attention from the tourism, real estate and investment communities. According to rbb president Lisa Ross, the firm will manage a program that includes strategic counsel, media relations and familiarization tours to raise awareness for the project.
 
Founded in 1975, rbb Public Relations recently bought itself back from Weber Shandwick Worldwide.
