GREENVILLE, SC—Leslie Public Relations, the PR subsidiary of one of the largest integrated marketing agencies in the Carolinas, has launched a specialty practice group focusing on strategic media relations for consumer and business-to-business technology. Operating as Leslie Technology Public Relations, the group will be co-headed by Kara Dullea, director of Leslie PR, and Christopher Wailes, senior media strategist and former head of media strategy for the technology practice group of Weber Shandwick Worldwide in Washington, D.C.

Leslie Technology Public Relations will focus on providing strategic media solutions for technology companies in Charleston’s Digital Corridor, especially in the areas of e-business, consumer software, healthcare technology, business-to-business and financial technology services. The firm “will help its clients differentiate their product offerings across a diverse spectrum of audiences by translating complex information into stories that are readily understandable and applicable.”

“Great public relations is great story telling,” says Dullea. “We uncover the substance that makes good stories great. We work with our clients to tell their stories in a way that delivers maximum impact across industries, geographies and audiences. The southeastern U.S., especially parts of South Carolina, represent a major U.S. hub for science, technology, financial services and innovation, and we think our experience and perspective will bring significant value to companies in this area.”
