CarryOn Communication Acquires Branding Boutique

CarryOn Communication, one of the fastest-growing public relations firms on the west coast, has acquired Kaplan & Associates, a full-service Los Angeles-based strategic communications firm specializing in branding, marketing communications and product launches.

LOS ANGELES—CarryOn Communication, one of the fastest-growing public relations firms on the west coast, has acquired Kaplan & Associates, a full-service Los Angeles-based strategic communications firm specializing in branding, marketing communications and product launches.

Kaplan & Associate principal Tali Kaplan joins CarryOn as senior vice president to provide brand building expertise to clients including Pharmavite and Sebamed, in addition to leading start up efforts for new agency clients she has helped win, including Gypsy Tea, a brewer of organic tea blends, and MedVenture, a leading designer and manufacturer of cutting edge medical devices.

Kaplan clients, including Baxter BioScience and Clorox, will be served by CarryOn’s nationwide support network, including offices in New York and Washington, D.C..

”Our branding assignments will be the foundation of what we believe will lead to fully integrated PR programming for CarryOn clients moving forward,” says Kaplan. “Our goal is to help clients reach theirs, and we achieve this by synergizing communication strategies that complement marketing initiatives while delivering optimum return on investment and driving client revenues.”

Prior to launching her own firm, Kaplan held a variety of senior management, regulatory and communication roles at Baxter BioScience, where she served as vice president of global communications from 2000 to 2003. She joined Baxter BioScience from Genentech, where she was senior specialist of regulatory affairs.
