MIAMI BEACH—Senior corporate communications professionals from three continents have joined the lineup for The Holmes Report’s first Global Public Relations Summit, which will take place at the St Regis Bal Harbour, October 29-31.

From North America, the Summit will feature Jon Iwata of IBM and Christa Carone of Xerox, both of whom rose to become chief communications officers at their respective companies before taking on additional responsibility for the marketing function—a convergence of disciplines that is becoming increasingly common.

Similarly, Simon Sproule of Japanese automaker Nissan leads the combined corporate communications and marketing functions at that company.

From Europe, the conference will feature Andre Manning, global head of communications for Royal Philips Electronics in the Netherlands, and Anne Villemoes, director of corporate communications at Danish Crown in Denmark.

Early bird registration for the Summit is now open.

All five of these speakers are members of the Influence 100, the Holmes Report’s listing of the 100 most influential corporate communicators from around the world.

Additional speakers will be announced over the next few weeks as keynote speakers, plenary sessions, panels, debates and breakout sessions are finalized at the Summit, which will bring together leaders from the international public relations agency business and senior corporate communications and public affairs executives from global corporations to discuss the major trends and issues impacting corporate reputation, brand marketing, public policy and stakeholder relationships.
