HONG KONG—Chadd McLisky, who sold his public relations firm—the largest in Indonesia—to Edelman five years ago, has been named corporate practice chairman for Edelman’s Asia-Pacific region.

In his new role, McLisky will be responsible for leading the firm’s corporate practice across Edelman’s 11 Asia-Pacific markets. He will report directly to David Brain, president and CEO, Edelman Asia Pacific, and Ben Boyd, global head of the corporate practice.

Prior to starting IndoPacific Edelman 20 years ago, McLisky worked for nearly 10 years at Burson-Marsteller, where he was vice president for Australia and New Zealand. He has more than 30 years of experience in the public relations industry and has managed a wide variety of clients in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Australia, Indonesia and across Asia.
