LOS ANGELES — Healthcare firm Chandler Chicco has formally begun a change management practice under the new leadership of Briana Sharp.
The practice was born out of the realization that many of Chandler Chicco’s existing clients were already leaning on the agency for change management guidance. Earlier this year, the firm brought on Sharp to lead the new “Dynamic Change Engagement” practice. She previously operated her own Los Angeles-based consulting firm for a year and, before that, spent more than seven years in Deloitte Consulting’s human capital practice.
Chandler Chicco says its offering differs from traditional consulting firms — like Deloitte — primarily because of its ability to scale.
“With a consulting firm, the work tends to be on larger projects with full-time resources,” Sharp said. “We’re able to do full-time or less -- and can scale our client team accordingly.”
This new practice taps into proprietary methodology based on models of human behavior and change management to help life sciences companies manage continuous change. It builds on Chandler Chicco’s work helping companies through mergers and acquisitions, workforce transitions, people or process changes, restructurings and rebrandings, cultural shifts, adoption of new programs and field sales engagement, among others.
“The way clients want to work has changed,” Sharp said. “Change isn’t a one-off anymore, change happens all the time and clients are looking to adapt more continuously.”
Sharp, who is based in Los Angeles, says the new practice should help deepen Chandler Chicco’s relationships with HR and other operational leads within organizations. She reports to Julie Adrian, managing director of Chandler Chicco West.
