LONDON– Global healthcare communications specialist Chandler Chicco Companies has named Neil McGregor-Paterson as Managing Director of CCC’s new EU business unit and Jeff Smith to the role of managing director of Chandler Chicco Agency.

In his new role, McGregor-Paterson will be responsible for overseeing a range of services currently offered by the CCC London office within the new EU business unit, which will offer solutions to clients to help ensure market access and the most favorable policy and reimbursement environments for their new and established brands.

McGregor-Paterson currently holds the position of MD for CCA London, a position he has held since August 2006. Previously he was European strategic planning director at Weber Shandwick Healthcare; practice head at Ogilvy PR; and managing director at Shire Health New York.

Replacing McGregor-Paterson as CCA London MD is Jeff Smith, who joins CCC from Huntsworth Health where he was CEO at Broadstreet, a U.S.-based marketing communications group and CEO at Avenue HKM, a London-based healthcare communications agency.

Says Fiona Hall, EU director of operations at CCC, “The pharmaceutical industry continues to go through a period of significant evolution. Neil’s appointment to our newest EU business unit will ensure we are in an even better position to help our clients meet the opportunities and challenges this evolution brings. The new unit will work in partnership with our clients and, where appropriate, our other brands, to ensure the most favorable policy and reimbursement environment for their established and future brands.”
