NEW YORK—Chandler Chicco Agency, which last week appointed Fiona Hall to lead its expanding European operations, has opened a Paris office, its first wholly-owned office in continental Europe. The office will be led by Jean-Yves Goar, a French communications specialist with more than 15 years of experience in healthcare, corporate and consumer communications.
“The opening of a Paris office is the next step in our EU expansion and the growth of Europe’s largest healthcare specialist network,” says CCA principal and co-founder Gianfranco Chicco. “We’re committed to bringing CCA’s resources and knowledge of the global healthcare landscape to our international partners.”
The CCA Paris client portfolio already includes Allergan’s medical aesthetic and neurosciences divisions, and further projects will be confirmed shortly. It currently employs three consultants. The agency also has established a partnership with Presse & Papiers, a French healthcare media relations agency, led by Anne Brossard-Saillant.
Goar’s communications experience encompasses risk prevention in HIV and cardiovascular diseases, hormone replacement therapies, behaviour therapies, corporate communications for clinical trials companies and crisis/issue management for the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining CCA, he worked as an independent consultant for 15 years, working with PR agencies including Burson-Marsteller, GolinHarris and PorterNovelli, as well as for clients such as the French Association for Behavior Therapies, Eurosom, Kenzo, Marithé + François Girbaud, and S.T. Dupont.
