Chandler Chicco Parent Acquires Stake in German Firms

inVentiv Health, which two years ago acquired international healthcare public relations firm Chandler Chicco, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a minority interest in Haas & Health Partner Public Relations and SanCom Creative Communication Solutions.

LONDON—inVentiv Health, which two years ago acquired international healthcare public relations firm Chandler Chicco, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a minority interest in Haas & Health Partner Public Relations and SanCom Creative Communication Solutions, two leading German healthcare communications firms. Haas & Health Partner and SanCom will become members of the Chandler Chicco network and will report directly to its managing director of European operations, Fiona Hall.      

 

inVentiv Health has acquired 19.9 percent of Haas & Health Partner and SanCom CCS, both based in Eltville, near Frankfurt. Founded in 2001 by German healthcare communications experts Irene Haas and Ulrich van Gemmern, Haas & Health Partner and SanCom CCS provide national and global healthcare clients with integrated communication solutions. The companies’ client rosters include Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol-Myers Squibb, CSL Behring, Janssen-Cilag, Lilly and Wyeth.

 

According to Bob Chandler, principal: “Germany is a significant step that further benefits our clients’ interests there. We have been in that market on an affiliated basis with Haas & Health for close to a decade.”
