LONDON, December 21—Chime Communications, parent of U.K. public relations agencies Bell Pottinger and Good Relations and of high-tech specialist LNS Communications in the U.S., had acquired a further 75 percent of The Smart Company.Net, a London-based consultancy focused on corporate social responsibility, taking its holding to 100 percent.
 
The Smart Company was founded by Leighton Andrews, formerly managing director of British public affairs shop Westminster Strategies and head of public affairs at the BBC. Clients include NGOs such as Greenpeace and the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children as well as corporations including Marks & Spencer, Halifax, Lloyds TSB, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
