BALTIMORE—David Warschawski, founder and president of Baltimore-based public relations firm Warschawski has named Amy Christopher—a six-year veteran of the firm and currently senior vice president—has been named president. After serving as the agency’s president since its inception more than ten years ago, David will step into the newly created role of chief executive while Christopher will lead the firm’s day-to-day operations and oversee the management of all account teams.
Warschawski will focus on leveraging the agency’s proprietary branding approach, BrandMaPR, to further develop strategic opportunities for the firm, spending more time lecturing, writing and consulting on the topic of brand-centric marketing communications. He will also continue working with clients as part of account teams or as counselor on financial, legal, brand building marketing communications and crisis communications issues.
Christopher becomes president after more than six years at the firm, where she has led award-winning communications strategies for brands including Black & Decker, DeWalt, Medifast, Under Armour, SunTrust Investment Services, the International Olympic Committee, Penguin Publishing, and USA Swimming.
