SAN FRANCISCO—The Churchill Club, a 5,000-member business and technology forum that offers programs featuring Silicon Valley CEOs, up-and-coming executives and other thought leaders, has selected Shift Communications to provide public relations support.

“Shift is one of the most innovative and accountable PR firms in Northern California and goes beyond traditional PR by, among other things, providing us recommendations that lead to successful programs,” said Christie Valdez, executive director of The Churchill Club.

The Club was founded by Rich Karlgaard, now publisher of Forbes magazine, and Tony Perkins, formerly of Red Herring and now CEO and editor at AlwaysOn. Current corporate members include Accenture, Cisco Systems, Deloitte & Touche, EDS, Ernst & Young, Hewlett Packard, IBM Corporation, Microsoft and Google.
