DALLAS, October 26—With the state of Texas on the verge of deregulation its energy industry, Dallas-based retail electricity provider Cirro Corporation has retained the services of M/C/C to develop a sustained media relations campaign. The campaign will lead up to Cirro’s company launch and continue through the introduction of services on January 1, 2002.

“Texas’ electricity industry is about to become highly competitive. The service providers that survive will be the ones that create brand awareness and build customer loyalty,” says Cirro executive vice president Tim Bell. “M/C/C has guided clients’ marketing and communications efforts through deregulation before. That experience will allow them to take advantages of opportunities that others may not be aware of.”
