YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, NY—Veteran public relations expert Christina Rae, most recently vice president of executive communications for CIT Group, has launched her own firm, Buzz Creators. The firm provides public relations, marketing, and brand building support to companies of all shapes and sizes.
During her two year tenure at CIT, Rae led the development of the company’s executive communications program, including strategies and plans to drive exposure of CIT’s executive management team externally. She also developed thought leadership programs that supported CIT’s brand and reputation. Previously, she served as vice president, global communications, at MasterCard Worldwide, where she led communications for the global rollout of the MasterCard PayPass contactless payment program, and was a senior account executive at Brodeur Worldwide.
Recent client wins for Buzz Creators include beer importer Heineken USA; St. John’s Riverside Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Westchester County; Mirrorball, a consumer engagement agency; Wellington Shields & Co., a full-service brokerage and advisory services company; Furnari Scher, a leading New York law firm that specializes in emerging, start-up and growth companies; and the Alliance for Safe Kids, a Yorktown, NY-based non-profit organization whose goal is to provide a “safety net” for kids and families.
