SAN FRANCISCO—Citigate Cunningham grew 20 percent in the first three months of the year, including an agency of record assignment for HCL Technologies in North America. HCL is one of the leaders in technology integration and outsourcing from India. Its innovative management practices were the subject of a recent feature story in Fortune magazine.

Citigate Cunningham has also been selected as the U.S. agency for Alibaba.com Corporation, a leading Chinese e-commerce company. Working in conjunction with sister agency Citigate Dewe Rogerson, which will oversee activities in Hong Kong and in Europe, the agencies are executing a global public relations campaign for Alibaba.com.

The firm was also appointed by Pivotal Resources to assist with strategic positioning and customer communications. BitPass selected Citigate Cunningham in March to manage corporate positioning and outbound public relations programs. Echopass, a leader in the on-demand call center market, chose Citigate Cunningham as its lead agency in 2006 after a successful engagement in late 2005. And the firm is managing a new program for Popkomm GmBH, the international business event and exhibition platform for music and entertainment, while also assisting existing clients Sybase, Inc. and MaXware, among others, with additional assignments.
