NEW YORK—CJP Communications has been retained by Braemar Energy Ventures to provide public relations services. Braemar Energy Ventures, a venture capital firm with offices in New York and Boston, invests exclusively in technology opportunities in the energy sector.  The firm joins CJP’s energy practice which includes GE Energy Financial Services, the energy financing unit of GE, and First Reserve Corporation, the world’s leading private equity firm in the energy industry.

According to Neil Suslak, managing director of Braemar Energy Ventures: “While energy has been a key to global development since the dawn of the electronic age, the beginning of the new century has seen a tremendous surge in technology advancements, market activity and the strategic importance of energy around the world. Braemar was attracted to CJP because of its deep understanding of the energy investment landscape and the way in which venture capital spurs technological innovation.”
