CHICAGO—Revolution Tea, a specialty tea company, has hired CKPR as its public relations agency of record. Revolution Tea offers more than 20 blends and is carried by thousands of restaurants, book stores, gourmet markets and grocery stores nationwide.
CKPR’s Phoenix office will be responsible for everything from media relations to mass guerrilla tactics with the goal of boosting awareness of Revolution Tea among grocery, restaurant and consumer audiences.
“We’re at the forefront of trying to change how people think of tea,” says David Watson, president Revolution Tea. “Some of the same consumers who demanded a better cup of coffee are now developing a more refined taste for tea. Just like Starbucks fueled the craze for specialty coffee, our premium teas are for people who want something better.”
