CHICAGO—CKPR has named two public relations industry veterans to lead its Orlando and Milwaukee offices. Lou Anne Banks, formerly of Arnold Worldwide, will take the helm in Orlando, while Jon Stern, who has held management positions with Burson-Marsteller and Bozell Worldwide, will lead the firm’s Milwaukee office.

Stern takes over for Joel Curran, who had served in the dual role of Milwaukee office director and CKPR managing director, and will now focus exclusively on leading the firm’s overall operations from Chicago. In Orlando, the addition of Banks will allow office director Jackie MacKay to concentrate on developing client programs and leading the firm’s national travel and tourism practice.

“We’ve spent the past year building a lot of the infrastructure and are now ready to accelerate our growth.  Jon and Lou Anne are the senior catalysts needed to help get us to the next level,” said Peter Krivkovich, president and CEO for Cramer-Krasselt and CKPR.

Banks spent eight years with Arnold Worldwide, most recently as senior vice president and Mid-Atlantic regional manager. She has also worked at Golin/Harris-Chicago, Susan B. Davis and Eisner & Associates.

Immediately before joining CKPR, Stern directed marketing communications for NYC2012, the official bid group chosen by the United States Olympic Committee to represent the U.S. as the candidate city for the 2012 Olympic Games.
