Clarke Joins Wagg Ed's Corporate Practice in New York

Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has named Michele Clarke as senior vice president in the firm’s corporate practice. In her new role, she will lead the agency’s corporate practice and will serve as acting general manager of WE’s New York City office.

SEATTLE—Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has named Michele Clarke as senior vice president in the firm’s corporate practice. In her new role, she will lead the agency’s corporate practice and will serve as acting general manager of WE’s New York City office. She will report to Jenny Moede, executive vice president of the North America region.

 

Clarke joins WE with more than 20 years of experience as a communications counselor. She was most recently a managing director at Brainerd Communicators, where she worked since 2002, with a focus on corporate and executive positioning, crisis management, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring, litigation and regulatory support, employee engagement, corporate social responsibility, building and leading effective partnerships, business-to-business marketing communications and consumer and viral marketing.

 

Before that, she held leadership positions at Hill & Knowlton, Burson-Marsteller and EuroRSCG PR.
