NEW YORK—FD has appointed Jackson (Jay) Dunn as managing director of new business for FD Americas.  Based in Washington, D.C., Dunn will report to Ed Reilly, CEO of FD Americas and will head up business development efforts for the firm.

Dunn has spent 15 years in national politics as an aide to President Bill Clinton, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Senator John Kerry and Senator Terry Sanford.  He worked in the Clinton White House as the President’s associate director of public liaison, coordinating the business community’s support for the administration’s economic and trade agenda, including the successful efforts to pass the New Markets Initiative and to secure Permanent Normal Trade Relations for the People’s Republic of China.
