MONTREAL—Cohn & Wolfe Canada has acquired the operations of The InvestComm Group, which will be integrated into Cohn & Wolfe’s Montréal office. This deal follows the acquisition of ETC Communications of Toronto less than one year ago and reflects what managing partner John Crean says is an aggressive growth strategy.

“The addition of The InvestComm Group to our existing team in Montréal and Toronto, strongly positions Cohn & Wolfe to expand its growing list of clients requiring investor relations and financial communications services,” says Crean. The firm’s Canadian investor relations practice will be based in Montréal and will be led by Grace Pollock, formerly the president of The InvestComm Group.

Pollock will be a senior VP, responsible for growing a national practice and reporting to Jean-François LeBrun, executive vice president and general manager of Cohn & Wolfe Montréal.

“The financial communications and investor relations needs of public and pre-public companies are becoming increasingly complex,” said Grace Pollock. “Our new team has the skills and resources to effectively manage our clients’ most demanding transactional and regulatory needs.”
