Cohn & Wolfe Strengthens U.K. Corporate Affairs Group

Cohn & Wolfe has strengthened its corporate affairs practice in the U.K. with a trio of senior appointments. Associate director Lee Murgatroyd has been promoted to the board of directors, and James Ruane and Rosalie Hunt have been hired to associate director roles.

LONDON—Cohn & Wolfe has strengthened its corporate affairs practice in the U.K. with a trio of senior appointments. Associate director Lee Murgatroyd has been promoted to the board of directors, and James Ruane and Rosalie Hunt have both been hired to take up associate director roles. All three will work with the managing director of Cohn & Wolfe’s corporate affairs division, Stephen Doherty, to expand a practice that has grown to 22 people in the last two years. 

Murgatroyd will have responsibility for overseeing and growing Cohn & Wolfe’s public sector work which includes the Learning and Skills Council and London Underground. Ruane, who joined from Lexis, will work on a range of clients including Royal Mail and Elior. Hunt, who previously spent seven years at Hill & Knowlton and joins following a career break, will work on a number of recent client wins including E-Skills and Picture Financial.

Murgatroyd has been at Cohn & Wolfe for four years. His previous agencies include August.One Communications, Golley Slater and Northern Profile PR.
