MINNEAPOLIS—Colle+McVoy has been named agency of record for Novartis Animal Health US. The firm’s Wellness Practice will handle business planning, advertising, public relations, interactive and strategic direct marketing responsibilities for Novartis Animal Health’s companion animal division.

“We are introducing several new companion animal brands in 2003 and we needed one solid agency that really knew the industry and our customer base,” said Paula Stack, vice president sales and marketing, Novartis Animal Health. “Colle+McVoy has the reputation and depth of experience we need to
launch our new brands and create excitement for our current portfolio.”

Colle+McVoy’s assignment includes the direct to consumer launch of Deramaxx, a canine pain medication similar to human medications Celebrex and Vioxx, and work for nine other products, including the company’s line of flea, heartworm and intestinal parasite products, as well as corporate communications assignments.
