MOSCOW—Corporate and financial communications firm College Group has agreed to acquire the team and business of investor relations firm Shared Value in Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Low Countries and Eastern Europe.

The Shared Value team, led by Mark Walter and Galyna Kulachek, together with their clients, join the College Hill capital markets division of College Group.

Shared Value was formed in 1999 as a specialist investor and public relations consultancy focused on Northern Europe, Russia and the CIS. It is headquartered in London and led by Andrew Best and Matthew Hooper, both veterans of Shandwick and in-house investor relations roles.

College Hill has handled several listings and IPOs for companies from Russia and CIS.

According to Paul Downes, Chief Executive of College Hill Capital Markets: “We have experienced a strong growth from Russia over the past couple of years and work with an increasing number of listed Russian and CIS companies.  The acquisition reflects our commitment to the Russian and CIS markets and represents another important step forward in our broader growth strategy.”
