LONDON—U.K.-based corporate and financial communications consultancy College Hill has invested in Stockheim Media, a German business communications consultancy. Stockheim Media operates from offices in Frankfurt and Cologne and is known in Germany for its work in strategic communications consulting, with particular strength in the financial services sector. Stockheim Media’s current clients include ABN Amro, Generali Investments, Sal. Oppenheim, WestLB, Feri and Pioneer Investments.
Including an existing life sciences sector team, College Hill now employs more than 30 people in Germany, operating from offices in Frankfurt, Cologne and Munich. In order to support its growth in the market, the firm has hired David Brierley, who has been advising German companies for over a decade following a career as a business journalist with the Sunday Times and the Daily Mail in the U.K. and Focus in Germany. He will work alongside Ulrich Stockheim, founder and managing partner of Stockheim Media, and Carsten Bohme, partner.
College Hill and Stockheim Media will together expand coverage of German capital markets, combining Stockheim Media’s local strength with College Hill’s growing international capital markets operations, with now include operations in the U.K., Hong Kong and South Africa.
