PHILADELPHIA—D’Arcy Rudnay has joined Comcast Corporation as vice president of corporate communications, responsible for all strategic communications planning. She replaces Karen Dougherty Buchholz, who was named vice president of administration for the broadband cable company.

Rudnay was previously vice president of corporate communication and media relations at Lincoln Financial Group.  She has also served as the vice president of communications and corporate identity at Advanta Corporation and as a communications manager for The Pew Charitable Trusts.

Buchholz, meanwhile, is managing and coordinating a variety of corporate administrative responsibilities, including facilities, real estate, corporate services, security, aviation, travel, diversity, and other matters. In particular, she will assume responsibility as the project manager for the company’s Philadelphia corporate headquarters search, including any move or transition activities that may be required at the conclusion of that process.
