Connors Adds Senior VP in New York

Connors Communications has appointed Anthony Mirenda senior vice president, of its New York headquarters. He will be responsible for managing client service and helping to ensure the overall growth of the New York office.

NEW YORK—Connors Communications has appointed Anthony Mirenda senior vice president, of its New York headquarters. He will be responsible for managing client service and helping to ensure the overall growth of the New York office, as well as working with clients to develop strategic public relations and branding programs.
 
“Tony is an excellent addition to our management team.  His strategic public relations skills and his ability to oversee and work cohesively with clients and internal account teams will help us build on Connors’ current momentum,” says Connie Connors, CEO. “He brings significant experience to our firm and fits in well with our vibrant and dynamic culture.” 
 
Prior to joining Connors, Mirenda served as director of public relations for RIA, a leading provider of technology and Web-based tax information in New York. There, he was responsible for establishing a strategic PR function and directed all communications and branding efforts. Prior to going in-house, Mirenda’s career included a four-year stint at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide where he left as a vice president and stints with Makovsky & Company and A.B. Isacson & Associates.
