Rockenwagner joins Paramount Pictures to lead communications, plus new people in new positions at Associated Estates Realty and Joy Global

LOS ANGELES—Paramount Pictures has named Patricia Shin Rockenwagner, formerly a regional communications executive at Time Warner Cable, as executive vice president of corporate communications, filling a position that has been vacant since the July 2007 departure of Janet Hill. Rockenwagner will report to Paramount chairman and CEO Brad Gray. She joined TWC in 2006 after five years with Comcast of Southern California, which Time Warner acquired. Earlier, she was chief of staff and campaign manager for then state Sen. Tom Hayden.


CLEVELAND—Kimberly Kanary has rejoined Associated Estates Realty Corporation as vice president of corporate communications. Kanary had previously worked at AEC as manager of corporate communications and investor relations, prior to joining National City Bank as assistant vice president, retail communications. Her primary role at AEC will be to champion strategic, integrated communication for all constituencies.


MILWAUKEE, WI—Mining equipment company Joy Global has named Sara Wilkins vice president, investor relations and corporate communications. Wilkins has over 17 years of hands-on experience with several NYSE and NASDAQ listed companies, encompassing every aspect of strategic investor relations, corporate and financial communications and public/media relations. Before joining Joy Global, she was the vice president, investor relations and corporate communications for Journal Communications Inc. in Milwaukee, and earlier was manager of corporate communications for Ashland Coal.
