NORTHBROOK, IL—Astellas has appointed Moyra Knight as the head of corporate and employee communications in the Americas region. Knight will report to Jeff Winton, senior vice president, chief communications officer, and will be responsible for corporate brand initiatives and reputation management as well as corporate social responsibility, executive communications, employee and digital communication and corporate media relations. Most recently, she worked at Baxter International, where she held various senior positions within corporate communications. Prior to that, Knight worked at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide and Kraft Foods.

CHICAGO—DTZ, a leading global property services firm, has appointed Agnes Estes as global head of marketing and communications, responsible for brand positioning, corporate marketing, corporate communications and digital strategies. She will serve on the company's global executive committee and report to global chief executive Tod Lickerman. Estes joins DTZ from Edelman, where she served as senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications working with clients such as Humana, GE Transportation, Pfizer and Roche Diagnostics.

EL PASO, TX—El Paso Electric has appointed Eduardo Gutierrez to vice president of external and public affairs. He will lead the company’s external affairs and public relations functions. Gutierrez joined EPE in November of 2013 as manager of public relations, having previously served as founder and managing director of the Gutierrez Group, a strategic marketing and public relations firm.

SAN FRANCISCO — Brunswick partner Brandon Borrman has left the firm to become head of communications at data and advertising startup Quantcast. Borrman joined Brunswick in 2008 as a partner. Prior to that he was manager of corporate issues and management at Starbucks. He’s also held positions at United Airlines and Centrix Financial.
