New people in new roles at NBCUniversal News Group, Sundance TV, and New Line and Warner Bros.

NEW YORK—NBCUniversal has named Mark Kornblau senior vice president, communications for the NBCUniversal News Group. He will oversee the communications strategy for the Group, partnering with the communicators and business leads at NBC News, MSNBC and CNBC. Most recently, Kornblau was managing director of corporate communications for JPMorgan Chase, and before that served as communications director and spokesman for Ambassador Susan Rice at the United States Mission to the United Nations.

NEW YORK—Katie Lanegran has been promoted to vice president, public relations, at SundanceTV. She was previously a senior director, working on publicity campaigns for the series including Rectify, Top of the Lake, and The Returned. In her new role, she will continue to manage PR campaigns for SundanceTV's programming and will help set PR strategy for the network.

LOS ANGELES—New Line and Warner Bros. have promoted Candice McDonough to senior vice president of publicity and corporate communications. McDonough joined New Line in 2001 and in 2011 added responsibilities at Warner Bros.
