New people in new roles at Nielsen, Cox, and Dollar Tree.

NEW YORK—Andrew McCaskill has joined global information and research company Nielsen as senior vice president, corporate communications. He will report to chief communications officer Laura Nelson and will have global responsibility for Nielsen's corporate media relations efforts. McCaskill was most recently a senior vice president in the New York office of Weber Shandwick. Prior to that, he spent 13 years with financial services PR firm William Mills Agency.

ATLANTA—Cox Communications has promoted Leigh Woisard to senior vice president of corporate communications and public affairs. She continues to oversee the development of strategic internal and external communications plans to support product sales, promote the company’s community investment and direct all media and analyst relations. Woisard is an 11-year Cox veteran who has also served in communications leadership roles in Cox New England and Virginia operations.

CHESAPEAKE, VA—Dollar Tree, a leading operator of discount variety stores, has hired Randy Guiler as vice president, investor relations. He previously spent 15 years with Tractor Supply Company, leading the investor relations efforts for the past 10 years after heading the treasury and risk management functions.
