ARDEN HILLS, MN—Land O'Lakes has named Kim Olson as chief communications officer. Olson will lead the strategic development, direction and implementation of corporate communications programs. Olson joins Land O'Lakes after leaving Minnesota State Colleges & Universities and her role as chief marketing and communications officer. Prior to MNSCU, Olson held various leadership positions at United Health Group, Carlson, General Mills and Weber Shandwick.

NEW YORK—Former Finsbury senior vice president Kyle Giunta (pictured) has joined fast-growing social enterprise technology company Sprinklr as senior director of head of corporate communications. With experience ranging from media relations and crisis communications to digital strategy, Giunta was previously account director for MediaLink’s strategic communications practice.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ—Magellan Health has hired John Littel as senior vice president of government affairs and communications. Littel will lead the government affairs strategy for the enterprise and Magellan’s enterprise communications strategies to both internal and external audiences. Prior to joining Magellan, Littel served as interim senior vice president of government affairs for WellPoint, where he led the integration of their newly-acquired Amerigroup team. For the preceding 12 years, he served as executive vice president of external affairs for Amerigroup.

DURHAM, NC—Argos Therapeutics, a company focused on the development and commercialization of personalized immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer, has added John Menditto as vice president of corporate communications and investor relations. Menditto will report directly to Jeff Abbey, president and CEO, and brings more than 20 years of experience in the investor and corporate communications field at companies including Novartis and Medco Health Solutions and more recently, the Imagination Group.
