WASHINGTON, DC—DuPont has named Tiffany Atwell as director of international government affairs. Previously, she was the senior director for strategic programs in government affairs and policy for Abbott, where she managed a team that developed public-private partnerships with key governments and NGOs to drive outreach strategies in emerging markets like Russia, India and Brazil. She also served as the international trade policy advisor to Senator Chuck Grassley, former Finance Committee chairman.

FORT WASHINGTON, PA—Nutrisystem, a leading provider of weight management products and services, has appointed Robin Shallow as vice president of public relations and corporate communications. Shallow will have oversight of Nutrisystem's corporate media relations, brand publicity, internal communications, events and community relations. Most recently, she was executive vice president, communications and public relations, for MeetMe, a social network site. Earlier, she served as executive vice president of communications for Rodale, including its health, fitness and wellness titles.

WASHINGTON, DC—Sara Parker, formerly managing director at the Washington, DC, office of Grayling, is taking over as head of communications at deal-of-the-day website LivingSocial. She takes over from Andrew Weinstein, who is rejoining his former public affairs firm, Ridgeback. Parker previously was head of PR at Paypal Credit and a vice president at Edelman.

NEW YORK—Jennifer Garnick has been appointed vice president, public relations, for Pivot, Participant Media’s new cable network targeting millennials, and Participant’s digital arm, TakePart. Garnick will be responsible for the overall communications strategy for Pivot, and will have oversight for program publicity, talent relations, events and awards campaigns for Pivot, as well as corporate and consumer initiatives for TakePart. Garnick joins from the Independent Film & Television Alliance, where she was vice president, communications.
