TEMPE, AZ—Steve Kelley has joined StandardAero as corporate communications manager, responsible for managing internal communications for the company's 4,000-plus employees throughout the U.S. and Canada, in addition to serving as StandardAero's external communications contact managing all media relations activities. Prior to joining StandardAero, Kelley managed the marketing and communications functions for several major corporations, including Raytheon Missile Systems and Health Net of Arizona and served as the primary marketing strategist for The Greater Tucson Economic Council, and ARGO Tracker Corporation a developer of portable, GPS-based tracking devices.


SAN FRANCISCO—Delta Dental of California, Delta Dental of Pennsylvania and their affiliates have promoted Jeff Album, former director of public affairs, to vice president, public and government affairs. A 16-year Delta Dental veteran, Album will continue as the principal spokesperson for an enterprise that operates in 15 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. His responsibilities include government and media relations, employee and crisis communications and issues management.


WASHINGTON, D.C.—Chartese Burnett has been promoted to vice president of communications and community relations for the Washington Nationals. Prior to her promotion, Burnett served four years as VP of communications. In her new role, she will continue to develop, coordinate, and direct public relations and community service activities for the team. She will continue to assist in the development of the team’s communications strategy, working closely with the Nationals’ marketing and sales department to integrate the team’s messaging internally and externally. Burnett will also be charged with launching and overseeing the Club’s minority outreach efforts.
