RADNOR, PA—Lincoln Financial Group has appointed Kristen Phillips as head of corporate marketing and enterprise communications, reporting to Lisa Buckingham, chief human resources officer. Phillips is responsible for brand, advertising and corporate communications, in addition to her current marketing and strategy responsibilities supporting the insurance and retirement solutions business. Phillips spent six years at Lincoln before leaving the organization in 2008 to join the Hartford Symphony Orchestra as president and CEO. She returned to Lincoln Financial in 2011.

LEAVENWORTH, KS—Armed Forces Insurance, an insurance company of choice for current and retired members of the uniformed services, their children, and Department of Defense civilians, has promoted Lori Simmons to chief marketing officer and VP, marketing and corporate communications. Simmons will oversee all corporate branding as well as direct all of Armed Forces Insurance’s integrated marketing and public relations programs in addition to serving as company spokesperson.

FREMONT, CA—Tailored Brands has hired Julie MacMedan as vice president, investor relations, reporting to Jon Kimmins, executive vice president and CFO. MacMedan joins Tailored Brands from communications and investor relations consulting firm Financial Profiles. Previously, she was vice president, investor relations, for internet publisher and e-commerce marketplace operator Demand Media and interactive entertainment company THQ.
