Gaming industry public relations veteran Erik Reynolds has rejoined Atari as senior director of public relations, plus new people in new roles at Endeavour International and Halekulani Corporation.

SUNNYVALE, CA—Gaming industry public relations veteran Erik Reynolds has rejoined Atari as senior director of public relations. Reynolds has represented top companies like Nintendo, Yahoo, Vivendi Games/Sierra Entertainment, THQ and Atari and executed media relations programs for brands including Gamecube, Game Boy, Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, Dragon Ball Z, Pokemon, Battlestar Galactica, Ice Age, Ghostbusters, Red Faction, WWE, 50 Cent and Star Wars. Prior to joining Atari, Reynolds started his own interactive entertainment consulting company and development house.


HOUSTON—Endeavour International, an oil and gas exploration and production company has named K. Darcey Matthews as its new director of investor relations and corporate communications. Matthews comes to Endeavour with over 11 years of relevant experience advising public companies in the capital markets, most recently serving as managing director in the global corporate client group at the NYSE Euronext in the U,S, and Europe. Prior to that, she served as the Northeast regional business manager for Investor Business Media Network.


WAIKIKI—Halekulani Corporation, which owns and manages the Halekulani and Waikiki Parc Hotel in Oahu, Hawaii, has appointed Diane Ako as director of public relations. Ako will be responsible for directing all corporate, hotel and community media relations, overseeing communications for promotions and special events, as well as for supporting marketing initiatives for the properties. She most recently served as a television anchor and reporter for KHNL-TV, NBC’s local Hawaii affiliate, and its sister station KFVE-TV, previously anchoring and reporting in Pennsylvania, New Mexico and California.
