Coyne Adds Broadcast PR Veteran, New VP

Coyne Public Relations has hired Janet Schiller, a 14-year veteran of NBC’s Today, in the newly created position of broadcast director position. Schiller will help expand broadcast elements for Coyne PR’s programs.

FAIRFIELD, NJ—Coyne Public Relations has hired Janet Schiller, a 14-year veteran of NBC’s Today, in the newly created position of broadcast director position. Schiller will help expand broadcast elements for Coyne PR’s high-profile public relations programs.

Before joining Coyne PR, Schiller worked for Today from 1987 to 2001. She began her career on the show as a researcher/booker, and quickly moved to the associate producer level. She produced Today’s coverage of both the Sydney 2000 and Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympic Games, and covered the 1988 Republican National Convention in New Orleans and Today’s broadcast from Paris of the French Bicentennial Celebration.

The firm also named named Tim Schramm as vice president, overseeing one of the agency's largest client accounts, Medco Health Solutions. Prior to joining Coyne PR, Schramm was vice president/account management at Jericho Communications in New York, where he helped lead successful account programs for Progressive, the nation's fourth largest auto insurer; IKEA home furnishings; and fashion retailer H&M.
